This is the logo for NRO-39, a new American spy satellite. This made me laugh to day. I don't know if this is really the image they want to convey (... or then again, maybe it is).

As a tax payer, isn't this what we want? I mean they assuring us that our tax dollars are being used for the most effective spy technology possible. I wouldn't want to pay for a spy satellite with a slogan like "We can see some stuff."
Although people have already noted its similarity to imagery from the 1960's
