Am working on a trip to London, but my brother is intending to go to France end July.
Tho' I could use his house, I would not get to see my nieces then.
Watch this space. Situation normal, no plans yet.
May go for a brief whizz down next Friday though.

BTW, is the train museum still there?

Indeed it is. And admission is now free as well, which is a bonus. I go a couple of times a year for a wander around. A good place.

Anyone is welcome to come to York! Just let me know when!

Really? You went to York to meet the Gd Duke and he'd lit out?
And what had Gautam to do with it??

Margo, don't let this develop into a complex. Not may A2Kers actually live in London I think. I live 250 miles away from it, and I had to go to Germany the next day......

How will we ever live this down? (Sob!)

...I'm just remembering, KP went to Boston, giving four or five people plenty of notice, and they all had to wash their hair! What an amazing coincidence. Poor KP had to go into therapy, I believe.

I was planning a complicated trip through America in the autumn, visiting east and west coasts, and ending up seeing Occom Bill in Costa Rica, but perhaps I won't bother if people don't actually stay in to see you...

It's too late, McTag, mate - I'm already distraught! Shattered. An absolute wreck! Gone into therapy, never go to UK again, can only trust people who speak Australian, all that sort of thing!
<may get to Italy next year, though>

margo, You can trust us yankees too! We're a pretty dependable group, and you can bet your bottom dollar that any plan of yours to the US will be met by many A2Kers (more than in the UK, guaranteed). Smile

I have a grand plan of bouncing from one US a2ker to another, all the way from NYC to Mexico, west and east, ending up in Costa Rica to learn Spinach. But what if they all go and wash their hair ? I will be distraught, let down and likely to cry!!!

I would like to resurrect this thread. Haven't heard from Gautam or KP in ages, maybe their work keeps them away. Are you there, boys? Are you even in the country?
Clary has been trying to get something together, does anyone else feel the urge to travel? (Some have got further to travel than others)

Let's keep in touch. McT

One question: is that you on the avatar McTag? Or is that confidential / none of my business?

Well, it sure as hell ain't Clark Gable. Smile

Yes, unfortunately it's me all righty, wrapped up against the cold last year in Fife.
When I get my new computer (when?) and get to grips with the photo programs I may be able to concoct a better picture. This avatar was produced by a fellow A2Ker.
Walter has some better pics, and may be persuaded to put one up.
