No way am I going to dress to impress. If I don't impress by force of personality, I'm not going. Bonfire of the vanities springs to mind. These London folk and their fancy ways.

"The lovely" Fiona is not too far away, she read this over my shoulder.
And she says hello.
She lived in Sydney for two years or so, you know. She has a lot of friends over there.

But, I keep her too busy to have time to spend writing on the computer. Smile
Asshly she was out at a concert this evening, Bill Bailey at the Lowry.

Well, seems to be just a fortnight until the "big event".

I think, we should be more precise by now re pub, booking restaurant table .... and especially the date/time!

Speaking about wifes stashed in the cellar: since we had a lot of stressy days the last couple of weeks and due to her actual not so good health, Mrs. Walter thinks, she needs really some rest in her holidays - might well be, she still feels to exhausted in 14 days to join me travelling in the city for that night Crying or Very sad

That is too bad, Walter. I was looking forward to having another woman to talk to!
I can't do much in terms of booking, not being in London, and actually having rather a lot of things to do, as you may know. But will fall in with plans and can find my way around London fine. 40 years ago I was at University there!

Big question mark to Mrs. Walter (and one to Mrs. Steve as well, what I've heard: returns late from and has to start early for work.[besides: they have visitors  ]).

Walter, you can't walk around London looking like that in your sailor suit. You will attract all sort of attention (might get us into a few clubs, though).
Very Happy

Well, certainly not, when you, McTag, accompany me in your "avatar-outfit" Laughing

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

Clary - note that all the other women are dropping out quite quickly now!

I'd wonder why, if I were you???

A good collection:
KP - who looks roughly OK (and has a wonderful shoe collectiion)
Some young German sailor (might be fun!)
An Indian prince
A monster?
A blob (is that still Steve's avatar?)

Hmmmm????

Funny, when I'm due at a function, it usually guarantees the attendance of dozens of women. The hottest ticket in town.
Has the Evening Standard been alerted? Sufficient security? Stretch limos? CNN News?

Cool I didn't want to crowd you, or be accused of being a stalker - so I'm deliberately keeping the 12,000 miles between us!
