There should be a wormhole from Sydney to Oxford - through that nice science museum you have - where I went when the heavens opened as they ALWAYS do in Sydney. It would come out just outside the Ashmolean, near enough to the Turl to get a good lunch in the Turf Tavern.

I want to meet in Oxford toooooooom with Margo there as well. And talk about books toooooooo. Sigh, snivel... in fact I request participation by virtue of a toast of some sort. (Crusts probably removed, hmmm.)

I am so glad both you and Drom are at a2k, Clary. Margo already knows I'm pleased she's around and about.

YAY - and I had you down as a fellow Sagittarian because you travel so much - Cancers are supposed to be home-birds!

Clary, I admire your persistence. Wink Wish I could join you all, but London is get'n to be a bit expensive for American visitors. The exchange rate is now US$1.76 for 1 pound. On my last visit to London, it costs US$5 for a cup of coffee and one donut. It will now cost about $6. I can get a cup of coffee and one donut locally for about $1.50.

Solution seems simple to me, c.i. - it's those bloody donuts! Cut them out and the whole trip will be much cheaper! They don't contain a single thing that's healthy, you know!

margo, I know what you say is right on the 'money.' One guy brought two dozen donuts and a large pot of coffee for our grand jury committee meeting for 8 people on Friday, and I indulged in "two" glazed donuts. I'd better take two aspirins per day for the next ten days. Wink

I don't think the aspirin will help things, c.i., - and may cause some problems.

Perhaps a double dose of your anti-cholesterol drug?!

margo, Right again! My simple mind looked for the simplest of solution - thinking that two aspirins will flush out the fatty acids by thinning the blood. It just circulates faster. Wink

The obvious solution to me is tha we all meet at c.i's home town for coffee and donuts... where is it c.i. and when is the meet? I'll book a flight today!

I've been away so long

And lose my way

Is LA a great big freeway?
