Hey!
I had a medical abortion on the 15th of October,I experienced cramps and bleedingfor about 5-6 hours,bled for about 2weeks(normal bleeding)was supposed to go for my follow up check up but I didn't because after 2weeks of bleeding I had this smelly discharge for about a week,just when I was about to go fo mu follow up check up I started bleeding so heavy that I soaked more than 2pads an hour blood clots where also coming out,I stop bleeding that much after 3days,since then I've been spotting its almost a 2months now...is it normal?pls help

It is normal to bleed after medical abortion it can last for few weeks but your bleeding have not stopped for 2 months now, so i advise you should consult your health care provider.

Well I hope she's stopped bleeding by now, this was well more than a year ago.

Abortion starts a new menstrual cycle, so your period should go back to normal 4-8 weeks after your abortion. ... If you're concerned about bleeding after your abortion, give your nurse or doctor a call.
