I agree with you dear. The staff is upset when it referred to many people but when we referred as a unit then we say the staff is upset.

Read his post again, Set, and youmight see that Sam had a typo.

I write a mix, though I often correct myself (storey to story, just this evening, I learned a lot about architecture from brits) so not to provoke. Slaps self. I like brit english for a lot of reasons (double consonants, though I don't usually post them but occasionally break loose).
