First, to Bruin, just go to a site that offers free desktop images (like lordoftherings.net, in their downloads section) and temporarily direct link one of the images from there. Even the desktop image is at least 800x600, so that should fix it.
Here are my questions:
First, has anyone received the owl yet that you get after answering the riddle in the help part of the WC site? you know the one where mcgonagall says Karkaroff will owl it to you? It's been two days and I haven't received mine yet, and I am debating owling Jamie.
Second question,
Does anyone know what notes (ie. what notes and order of notes) you need to hit to get into the DA? Is it hedwig's theme? Does anyone know where you can find a list of the notes of hedwig's theme? Or is there a totally different method to get into the DA?

There was a bug in the owl post from McGonagall. I owled Jamie and he fixed it earlier today. So I tried again and I got my owl. So just try again and make sure you are logged into BOTH the Wizard Card site and the regular MNI site. If it doesn't work and you don't get your owl within about 5 minutes, owl Jamie Frost.

After that, can someone please tell me DETAILED instructions on getting into the DA. I just keep getting a message that says I made it into the music room
Hey Mizz... It's me, Ginny. The DA is the Hedwig's theme music... on the Site Map page... but you have to play it according to Jamie's music. Which doesn't make much sense and is damn near impossible... which makes me believe that most of the DA members got in by cheating... like we are here!
I've tried and tried to get the notes to work, on the site map and the main page, and I don't get anywhere... I don't know what to do. What is supposed to happen?
OHHH... you can ask Snape about it, he'll send you a recording of Jamie's version of Hedwig's theme.
thats a different secret. the entrance to the DA is on the site map page. click on the the music note and try i think u still have to click the icons to make the right music (have the sound on, wen u click the icons there will b a little ding)
Well yeah. But what is the right music? Do I just clicky it forever? LOL
The DA is the same format as the Music room one... you click the music note and a music staff will appear... you then click on the music notes to make Hedwig's theme.
However, I actually went through the trouble of looking up how to read sheet music online... and then looking up the notes for Hedwig's theme. Doesn't really work. You have to listen to Jamie's version and somehow play that. But it is so long and it's a medley of tunes from HP. So you just play the Hedwig stuff... hmmm... I haven't been able to get the right combo of notes.
Well, here is the theme as best as I can figure from sheet music, but it doesn't quite work. SO... if you guys want to try variations on it, feel free and tell us if you find it.
