i know, im sorry, i was just a little annoyed also. but when you are talking to MANY people and they keep asking 'when is mni going back up' or 'when are temps coming' it gets kinda annoying.
especially if you tell them EVERDAY its not coming up for a while.
UPDATE: October 14, 2004 - Um, guys? Today a fellow student of yours showed me a petition people have going, begging us not to close MNI. I know the site where this rumor comes from, so if you're one of the people spreading it, QUIT. Don't believe everything you hear about MNI unless it comes from me or another member of Head Staff. We have not closed for good. The forums are going to be recoded from scratch to increase security and efficiency, and at the moment we're waiting for temporary forums. Once they're up, we'll try to explain to all of you what happened so you can stop believing the silly rumors.
And please, please do not email us just to ask when MNI will be back. I'll be better about putting updates here for you. When I know something, I'll let you know. Hang in there *pets them*

I think that having MNI gone for so long has been nice and healthy for all of us. Now that I'm through with my withdrawals, I'm writing more and spending more quality time with friends and family, lol.
But yeah, having the new temp site will be pretty awesome. There are a lot of people on there who I miss talking to.
It's raining over here. . . . I love the rain. I think I'll just go sit outside and enjoy it.

Just a thought, but since everyone have been deprived of MNI for so long, and a lot of people are just getting used to the fact that it isn't here at the present time, I wonder how many people will just stop coming back because they just found other things to do instead of spending all their time on MNI. That would be terrible! The staff are working so hard on it to get it back up for all of us, which is soo great! Many thanks to all the staff members! You guys are GREATLY appreciated, atleast in my book!

dramababi247 - I had that same thought. I just hope that everyone who went on mni still regularly visits mugglenet, and will therefore know when MNI is back (surely they'll make it a news topic - they did with the MUD).
by the way, R. Lupin - the temp site I was talking about was the one that the MNI staff are creating. Click on the interactive link on Mugglenet and you'll see.
