As you wish.
Fill in the gaps or write it all out. It is just a short message, isn't it?

@oristarA,
...the 19th instant-
Hon Edward Everett will deliver the oration.
I am authorized by the Governors of the different States to invite you to be present and participate in these ceremonies, which will doubtless be very imposing and solemnly impressive.
It is the desire that, after the Oration, you, as Chief Executive of the Nation, formally set apart these grounds.

@Lordyaswas,
...this sacred purpose....

Hon Edward Everett is fully given as "the Honourable Edward Everett".

(or maybe Honorable!)

Yes, from devout to sacred. That is an interesting similarity.

This isn't really natural for this situation, Ori. It seems that you are asking for our assistance yet your question asks if we, ourselves, are interested in doing this action.

Would you like to help me decipher the calligraphy?

Could you help me decipher the calligraphy?

@JTT,
To me, the term calligraphy denotes an artistic style of writing; elegant penmanship; a superior, studied form of writing.

The example is cursive writing. When I was in primary school, we called it "real writing", cursive handwriting.

Has anyone got another term to describe it?
