As a man, I can tell you frankly, that I have never understood the desire for anal sex. But, if you, as a woman, like it, then talk to him and I'm sure he will comply occasionally if he really cares for you and your needs.
The anus feels nowhere near as good as the vagina. So, maybe he finds it fascinating to watch, but not to do.
IMPORTANT: Whatever you do, when you have anal sex, do NOT let him go from your anus to your vagina without washing off his penis with soap and water FIRST. If he transfers the bacteria from your anus to your vagina, it will cause a "serious" infection that you will NEVER be able to get rid of. Trust me on that. It is VERY, VERY bad. You do not want a green discharge coming out of your vagina for the rest of your life. And, it would be contagious to any other man you had sex with. Bad news all around.
My advise, is avoid it all together. Unless, you just crave it. Then use precautionary measures like I've said.

Watching something on your computer and actually doing it in real life are different things. Maybe he enjoys the idea of it, but the act can be quite messy and might take him out of the mood to be worrying about preparation and cleanup.
