Trying to do this with HP isn't working.... going to Imageshack and signing up. Check back in about 15 minutes.
Joe(don't you just love technology)Nation
Good video on Sunday Morning on CBS. It will be there for two weeks.
(if anyone else didn't figure it out right away - click on the images in Joe's post - it'll take you to a bigger version)
Thanks for the link to Imageshack sozobe -- I was looking for another site to convert image files.
ok - so - Joe Nation - how did it feeeeeel ?
did it detract from the park
add to the park experience
make any difference
???
These are supposed to be clickable:
they are
they are
they are clickable
They are huge. I don't have a large WEGA screen PC (a friend of mine has one as large as a big screen TV).
ohhhh - now that the bridge one has completely loaded and sized itself -

- the movement of the breeze - the detail of the pleating/gathering - well, the movement
it looks like the park's alive
how does it feel?
I had an ambilvent reaction. I found the color to be too much like the construction cones just outside the park and though there are many gateway now they don't seem to me to trigger change.
Its ok I suppose. It kinda goes over my head. I was thinkin that someone should do a display of "Chalk Outline" people on the road to keep in mind a New Yorkers roots
Nice clickable pics*, which show clearly that once again, Christo is using fabric made by the
German manufacturer Stephan Schilgen for his "Gates" project
*Okay, now I need a WEGA monitor, too.
I don't particularly like the construction art, but I do have to appreciate the creation. Peter Jennings made Cristo and Jean Claude his "people" of the week, referring to their work as "pleasant insanity". Love that reference. I looked very carefull, Walter, but I didn't see made in Germany anywhere. <smile>
make that "carefully" to lazy to edit. Great pictures, Joe
