That's really stretching it, Joe -- and Francis! CinemaScope on A2K.
He's just to the right of the banner. almost invisable.
Just joking, Joe!
No runner on my pic!
I can see the kicked-up leg when I click on the mini.
I like seeing the park in use, in and around the installation. I'm probably biased in its favour as I'm a fan of pleating as well as saffron. It makes me think of Little India in the midst of the big city.
Suggest that one resizes the images with a photoshop program when posting them. 50% would do it. If you don't have a photoshop program, the Adobe is free at
www.adobe.com.
Sorry I'm trying to post them as clickable but some are showing up

there's that leg again!
(I'm stealing that one, JoeNation - gonna add it to my screensaver slideshow)
The kids on the rink behind the gate are ten years old..... frozen soccer moms are watching.
Francis - you are very naughty.
I don't know what the fuss about the size is about. After I click on the pix - I get shot over to ImageShack and perfectly sized images appear (15" flatpanel here).
I get an enormous stretched image.
Maybe firefox is doing some extra behind the scene resizing work for me? Dunno.
The last two images Joe linked to were full screen, not stretched. Previous images on the A2K pages and the links were all stretched to double the size of the screen.
If you're using the Firefox browser it may be resizing the images to fit the screen. However, like I said, the last two images Joe posted linked to a normal full screen image. Okay, Joe -- whatja do?
I still trying to figure out where on the ImageShack to build a gallery,,etc,
But for the moment....
I had a very good time running around the park and over the woody hills in the Forever Wild section. It's at the north end about 106th Street for you local folks. As I get used to the software I'll put some more on of the pathways. There were two other people taking pictures and we agreed that there was a certain industrial feel to the whole thing.
Viewed at a distance, there is a curious effect, the unusual on the usual, but closer at hand the gates just become big floppy multiple objects.
JoeN - when you go into ImageShack - look around the page for something labelled MyImages.
Under the frog ... to the right ...
soooo, better at a distance than up close?
better without glasses off than with glasses on?
It won't let me upload any more pics, just the first six.....arrgh.
