Hi everybody, my bf is a "nerd" he is a programmer, and also loves to play WoW (we do that together ) and he also a big fan of Star wars, my question is, well I am not really good at such gifts cause I live in a "different" world, atm studying to become a nurse.
But I think I have done a great job, here is the list of things I bought.
- Rasperry pi (B)
- Rise of the lich king (book)
- rise of the horde (book)
- Han solo ice cube "holder"
- poptarts ( we live in DK, and he is in LUVE with poptarts)
- shaving kit (old fashion)
what do you guys think, would You be happy if you got these gifts for your 23rth birthday, from his loving gf.

@Josiee,
Well, of course you know him better than we do.

Is there an autograph he is looking for? It will take a while, and it may very well end up as a part of next year's gift, but what about writing to, say, Harrison Ford's agent and seeing if you can get an autographed picture?

@Josiee,
Yes, they sound fun and sweet, with a mix of things that he might almost need and things that probably reflect his personality. I hope you and he have a wonderful time on his birthday.

@Josiee,
Hey Josiee your ideas are great!
How about something more personal? There are so many personalized gifts that you can select from. Give it a thought.

@Josiee,
I consider myself to be a nerd as well. I taught myself how to develop websites, I majored in history, and I'm getting my CNA pretty soon. I love learning.
So, as far as your gifts go, here are my thoughts. The shaving kit is cool, and manly. I got an old-fashioned, double-sided razor as a gift last year and I still love it!
The Han Solo ice cube "holder" is something I'd expect my gf to make me throw away once she moved it. If he doesn't appreciate that not only did you let him keep it; but, you are also the one who bought it, then I don't know if anything can make him happy.
Pop tarts? Awesome! You can snack on them while opening the other gifts.
I haven't heard of the books. I'm into completely different genres of fiction. But, if he's mentioned an interest in those kind of books then you probably aren't going wrong.
Hope it goes well!
