Jessica Walters in "Play Misty for Me". I don't know how many of you remember that movie, but I love to watch it. It still scares me even though I know out it ends.

Douglas Rain as (the voice of) Hal, in 2001 A Space Odyssey- a fine villain in a memorable scene.

One of the most sinister things I can think of from a movie was not a character. It was a sound--music. The shark music from Jaws.

Made my blood run cold. Swim! Don't look back.
