How often do you write messages on sticky notes(or on a piece of paper) to your family members in order to remind of something,warn about something, etc?

I'm more interested in knowing WHY anyone would want to know or even care one iota how many times a person would use a Sticky Note or leave a message on a piece of paper. The mind boggles. I don't need to leave a note etc because I carry around a diary that I jot things down in that I need to remember. As for "warning" .... again... the mind boggles.

I carve my to-do list on their hands so there's no need of sticky notes.
