I live in ABC Street.
I live on ABC Street.

I was taught to be use 'in', but I often see 'on' being used. Is it a BrE/AmE difference?

Thanks.

Although British people can use both "in" and "on", I think "in" is more used in BrE and "on" is more used in AmE.

@tanguatlay,
In America, "on" is used almost exclusively. I have never of "in". You must have been exposed to the British useage.
