@Region Philbis,
Hmm...how revolutionary! Team ball, getting everyone involved. Wonder if the Lakers coach and/or players ever watch TV?

I don't mean to rain anyone's parade...but I think the Miami Heat will repeat as champions...basketball is by far the easiest of the 4 major U.S. sports to repeat as champs...I think that OKC is going to have a hard time losing James Harden...and I think the window gets smaller and smaller each year for SA...

I think it will be really, really hard for any other team...Boston lost Ray Allen to the Heat...the Knicks do not ever amount to anything...Chicago is not going anywhere without Rose...LA Lakers are no good...I don't think the Grizzlies have enough...

The only sleeper team is the LA Clippers...

Other than that, I think it will be Miami vs. OKC again...or Miami vs. SA...

As far as college, I think it is still way too early...a lot of the #1's keep dropping too....

@Ticomaya,
Hey mate! Wink I will say this quick...because I do not intend for it to be advertising for another website...or anything...but I think this is worth checking out...If you do not do it already...Check out the yahoo fantasy sports Tournament pick-em brackets...You can do a total of 4...(I think)

If you go and do a yahoo fantasy sports NCAA bracket...It is called "tournament pick-em"...If you get a perfect bracket you win 1 million...and if you have the highest bracket on yahoo you win 10 grand...

I always place around 70-80%...but I must confess that I do not pay attention to much college anymore even though I think I should...and know that the NCAA bracket is one of the most exciting events in sports...

After watching OKC dismantle the Clippers today, I gotta agree. Heat and OK in a repeat.

In college I have Indiana #1 and the Tar Heels as the dark horse to take it all.

@panzade,
I think Duke (#3) might be on their way back into the mix, too. After 2 months out of the lineup (13 games) with a bad foot injury Ryan Kelly has made some noise (career-high 36 points) in his return the other day against Miami 'Canes (#5). Not wanting to be too premature or over-exaggerate the results of one single game. The encouraging thing is that he didn't wear down in the 2nd half of the game. Very encouraging when you see how efficient he was ... 36 points on 14 attempts.

@Ragman,
Events are proving you right.
Any guesses as to the four #1 seeds?

pierce (35) is now 20th, moving ahead of current talking head charles barkley.
these guys are starting to slow down a bit -- each was recently given a night off -- but they still got game...

@Region Philbis,
RP...Wilkins was a beast...I almost feel compelled to just go back and watch him in that one dunk contest against Jordan, where he beat Jordan...but everyone kept giving Jordan 10's when Wilkins was just way better...

@panzade,
I'm not astute enough of a College fan enough to hazard a guess. College teams, particularly this season, are far too unpredictable.

I've watched the last 4 Heat games and I'm convinced this is one of the best teams in league history.
Their defensive play is amazing; double and triple teaming at will.

@panzade,
Heat seems to be ratcheting up to the quality of performance needed for playoffs. They're playing at a level as a team defensively that is joy to behold. I can't see anyone beating them. The Thunder can't seem (without Harden) to match up.
