Dearest English teachers,
I am confused on a word,half.If I want someone to wait for me,
Should I say,can you wait for me for an half hour or half an hour?

You can say "a half hour" or "half an hour". Either is fine.

The first is more American, the second British English. I'd always say "half an hour".
