Hi Misti -- I see

you've just joined, too. It's nice to see some familiar 'faces' around here. I kind of gave up on Abuzz a while ago,

though I have missed many of you.

Been busy. We hope to 'retire' next year and move to PA and we've been doing

lots of research (online and in person) to figure out where. Then there's my daughter's wedding coming up in June. And

then there's the fact that I've created a monster -- taught my husband how to surf the web and now I've decided we MUST

have two computers when we retire or we'll wind up with a divorce. Luckily, he goes to bed early.

craven -- I've been antisocial for some time now. jespah's invite , though, was far to tempting to pass up and I'm really

glad I'm here. The site is great and there are lots of old friends around, too. Can't ask for much more.

Bandylu: Happy to hear you've been busy, but you must know

you've been missed a lot on Abuzz, but then again, so are lots of other people.

It must be nice to know retirement is

a stone's throw away, and you must be excited about your move ... I know I would be. Nothing like new places and faces all

kinds of new things to explore.

Oh my, your husband is surfing? Is he in for the ride of his life or what? I think

it's a great way to keep up with life, learn new things, and open new neurons ... we all know how important that is.

to see you, too.

Rae -- actually a bit of happiness is kind of heavenly, isn't it.

Misti -- we can not wait

till next year. The only problem, potentially, is that actual retirement will be kind of anticlimatical. Kind of like the

big lead up to Christmas when I was a kid and then, boom, it was all over and there was nothing left to look forward to for a

while. But thinking about it is what's keeping us going now for sure.
