Are women with pronounced jaws attractive to men?

@bomboxbibi,
If they look anything like Jay Leno? Then dear lord no! Other then that? I'm not really sure. Can you give some examples of famous actresses that fit that anatomical detail in which you are describing?

Mrs Simpson, the American divorcée who married King Edward VIII after he abdicated, was said to have such a pronounced jaw that you could see it sticking out on each side when you stood behind her. This, among other things, led some to wonder if she was intersex. She was certainly a Nazi sympathizer who hated Jews, and that is what makes her ugly in my eyes, not her jaw.

A woman with a pronounced jawline can be very attractive.

@contrex,
While Marge Simpson is the opposite and doesn't have a chin at all.

@Ragman,
Many women would like to look as good for as long as Maria Shriver has.

Here's one when she is relatively older -

@ossobuco,
I don't expect the majority of people to agree with me, but I think she's not attractive. She has beautiful hair and pretty eyes, though.

@jespah,
SJP: unreal and no big deal. She has a very attractive body and a ton of makeup and fashion to distract from some not very flattering (witchy) facial features.

@Ragman,
I've no opinion on her, beauty wise or broadcasting wise, or re her pick for a husband. I just don't think she would be described by many as unattractive. Maybe now, like many women, but not so much when she was younger.

But then I've been surprised in my life re what I find attractive or interesting re men. It usually starts with eyes and brains.
I suppose there are other criteria.

@ossobuco,
I hardly notice the jawlines of Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, or Jennifer Aniston. Do they even have jaws?

I opine in the spirit of silly and inconsequential threads. By no means would I judge a person (even celebs) by their physical characteristics such as their jawline or their bust size.

I find it a harmless diversion - especially when celebs who vamp for publicity and make a daily habit of having their photo plastered everywhere. They're fair game for causal comments about their appearance; however, I never would cast aspersions on their character (cough...cheap tramp...cough).

Now then ... that being said, there's the curious case of Roseanne Barr. Her I judge by her voice....fingernails on a blackboard!

@Ragman,
http://lipstickandpolitics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Gwyneth-Paltrow-026.jpg

^ thats GWYNETH PALTROW. now mr. ragman, tell me now, what do you call that? fats? skin? that is perfect example for lamp faced/ chiseled jaw person
hers is not defined though due to her age and probably her skin isn't that tight enough anymore. I just find it funny for you to assume so quickly.

in terms of jennifer aniston, she has a big lump looking part in her face when she is looking in front which means she has a strong jaw but not that evident nor defined.

while halle berry would be the last person i would mention to not have "jaws" or jawlines? what? then what is this?

know what a jawline is before commenting. she has small jaws, that's a fact but she has a very attractive jawline
