@ziawj2,
I wouldn't mind seeing the English jokes, though I know there is so much to choose from.

An "Evening in English" will be held Christmas Eve from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. in the school’s Conference Hall.
Each group should prepare two or three skits to perform in English: songs, plays, jokes , stories or poems. Be sure to be on time!

@PUNKEY,
Thank you.
I need to write it in the form of notice. Does Notice usually use elliptic sentences, such as nouns phrases? For example,

English Evening
7 p.m - 10p.m.
Christmas Eve
School's Conference Hall
Two or three skits in English
song, plays, jokes, stores, poems, etc.
Be on time!
Welcome All.

Is the poster above natural? Is it acceptable to native speakers? Could you help me check

What is an "English Evening"?

Is it an evening event where everyone speaks English?

If so, call it "An Evening in English"

Do you want people to perform skits in English? If so, you must tell them.

Perform two or three of your jokes, songs etc. in English.

@ziawj2,
An evening in English
Christmas eve
7-10 pm

School’s conference hall (We have to assume everyone knows which school. Maybe it's a combo grade and junior high with two such halls)

2-3 items needed for each group (You need to define "group" and upon what basis an item is distributed or awarded)

Welcome all!
Ps. any item OK
