Hi English teachers,
are my sentences acceptable? Many thanks in advance.
Attached to it was photos.
Seldom will I read newspaper outdoors.

You could say "Attached to it were photos", but it would sound more natural to say something like "Photos were attached to it". Photos is plural, so it should be were instead of was.

Same situation regarding noun/verb agreement. You could say "Seldom will I read newspapers outdoors", but most people would say "I seldom read newspapers outdoors". Newspaper here could be either singular or plural, depending on meaning. I chose to use the plural.

I'm not sure I really understand your title.

I'd have preferred Th. singular, "a newspaper"
