Hi English teachers,
I am not sure if I have used two new words appropriately. Please check my sentences, many thanks in advance.
I always try not to leapfrog my given tasks as well as try not to procrastinate any given tasks in the office. Nevertheless I still miss them out occasionally.
"Leapfrog" is a good word, but it's not that commonly used. If I were to use it, I'd expand the sentence to make it clearer what I meant. "Procrastinate" in this situation would need a helping word. And the last sentence needs recasting.
I always try not to leapfrog my given tasks and do something else instead; and I try not to procrastinate about doing any given tasks in the office. Nevertheless I still do them occasionally.
("Procrastinate", on the other hand, is a very common word, because we all do.)

I wouldn't use this sentence at all. You might say "I still slip up, occasionally."
