If we sometimes refer to people from Maine as Maniacs, why not call people from Vermont Varmints? And if the proper name for those who hail from Liverpool is Liverpudlians, shouldn't we call Boston people Bassoons or New York residents N'yucks? We all know, of course, that people from Ghana are called Ghonifs.
Feel free to add your suggestions for this kind of nomenclature for other cities, towns, states or regions.
