A Tulsa teen accidentally shot himself for the second time in three months, according to Tulsa Police. An officer able to save the boy's life by applying a tourniquet, according to police records.

A Massachusetts State Police sergeant accidentally blasted himself with his own shotgun on Tuesday.

Sgt. William Nasuti, 51, shot himself in the leg as he was transferring his weapon to a new cruiser.

A man accidentally shot himself in the arm at a “Muslim-free” gun range in Oklahoma.

A volunteer group of gun lovers and veterans has been standing guard outside Save Yourself Survival and Tactical Gear in Oktaha after the business owners sent out a Facebook alert claiming they received death threats over their ban on Muslim customers.

The man, whose name was not released, dropped his gun — which fired and struck him in the arm, reported Muskogee Now.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man died early Friday after it appeared he accidentally shot himself in the leg as he was putting his gun back in its holster, according the Milwaukee County medical examiner's office.

Timothy B. Phonisay died at Froedtert Hospital during surgery.

According to the medical examiner's report, Phonisay's cousin heard a gunshot shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday. She thought it was from a video game. She also heard moaning after the gunshot, which she also attributed to the game. Then she heard Phonisay calling for help.

Phonisay was apparently posing with his gun and it discharged when he went to holster it, firing a round into his right groin and striking the femoral artery, according to the medical examiner's report.

Phonisay purchased the Springfield .45-caliber handgun three months ago and had a concealed carry permit, according to the report. His death was ruled an accident.

In a news release on Monday, Sheriff Lawrence Tate said that 81-year-old Eulib George Bible was killed Saturday, KAIT reports.

The police were called in that morning to a residence in Franklin in reference to Bible ‘accidentally’ shooting himself.

Tate said Bible was trying to leave the home on a walker while holding a gun in his right hand.

Bible’s wife told police officers that her husband “loved to shoot squirrels” and he was attempting to open the outside kitchen door when he called to her to assist him.

The man’s wife said she was about four or five feet from her husband when the gun went off.

Mr. Bible was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner at around 11:50 a.m.

A young Russian woman accidentally shot herself in the head with a pistol while posing for a selfie, Russian news agencies reported Friday, citing police.

The 21-year-old found a 9mm handgun left behind by a security guard at her Moscow office and decided to pose for a photograph holding it, a police spokesman told Interfax news agency.

While taking a selfie with one hand, she accidentally pressed the gun's trigger, shooting herself in the temple at close range.

The incident which happened Thursday but was confirmed by police on Friday, led to the woman being hospitalised in a Moscow clinic.

The victim was in a "serious condition" on Friday, a spokeswoman for Moscow's Sklifosovsky hospital told RIA Novosti state news agency.

Man tries to put out garbage fire by driving over it in a van loaded with ammunition

A Clay County sheriff’s deputy retreated to a safe distance from a van burning in a field Tuesday afternoon after he heard the sound of live ammunition going off inside it.

The deputy found the van burning near Old State Highway 210 and Bluff Road, south of Liberty, about 2:30 p.m., said Jon Bazzano, a spokesman for the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy had been in the middle of a traffic stop when he saw black smoke on the horizon and headed that way to investigate.

Eventually, the deputy found the owner of the vehicle watching the fire from a distance.

The deputy learned that the owner had been burning garbage in the field and accidentally let the fire get out of control. In an attempt to put the fire out, he drove his van back and forth over the flames.

This made matters worse, as the tires of the van caught fire. Realizing that the van was loaded with firearms ammunition and a full tank of gas, the driver evacuated the area for safety.

A crew from the Liberty Fire Department responded to make sure the fire did not spread. It was unclear what type of ammunition the owner had in the vehicle.

The deputy did not immediately cite the owner, who declined to make a report for a possible insurance claim.

“It seems like he’s just going to have to take a loss on that vehicle because I don’t think they’re going to cover it,” Bazzano said.

Two people were shot in Tombstone, Arizona, during a gunfight reenactment when one of the actors allegedly used real bullets.

One of the actors, Tom Carter, was late to the performance and his weapon wasn't checked, according to News 4 Tucson. During the shootout, he allegedly hit actor Ken Curtis with a real bullet.

Authorities say an Indiana woman is recovering after being shot in the foot by her dog.

Indiana conservation officer Jonathon Boyd says 25-year-old Allie Carter laid her 12-gauge shotgun on the ground without the safety on during a waterfowl hunt Saturday at Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area.

several people. This time it was at a Florida Cracker Barrel, where patrons were enjoying their
Sunday morning breakfast when BAM! A fellow patron's gun fell out of his holster.

Deputies said the weapon fell out of the gun owner’s holster while he was walking through the
dining room of the Cracker Barrel in Sanford.

Deputies said William Hoback was talking to the checkout counter when his gun slipped out of his
holster and fired.

The bullet hit a kettle, which sent fragments flying.

Three people were hit by the shrapnel, including a restaurant manager and Hoback’s fiancé.

According a local news report, police will not say whether Hoback had a conceal-carry permit, but
they have said they do NOT intend to file criminal charges.

Police: Child finds gun in car, shoots self in Kroger parking lot

A 3-year-old was hospitalized Friday after accidentally shot himself inside a vehicle in a grocery store
parking lot in Troy.

The toddler was in the front seat of the family car around 1:45 when he found his mom's gun. He picked
it up and it somehow went off and shot the Rochester Hills boy in the leg. He was taken to a nearby
hospital and is listed in stable condition. According to Troy Police Capt. Bob Redmond, he is expected
to be okay.

"The mother and her two sons had been in Kroger shopping, when they came out the 4-year-old climbed
into the into backseat of the car," Redmond said.

Police said the boy was in the front seat while his 10-year-old brother helped mom load groceries into
the trunk at the Kroger at South Blvd and Crooks. The young boy reached into the front center console,
took out his mom's 9 MM handgun and shot himself. Police say the bullet exited his thigh.

"He pulled the trigger on the gun, shooting himself in the upper right area, (it) exited out the right thigh,"
Redmond said.

Dog reportedly shoots Toledo pizza delivery man

A pizza delivery man is recovering after being shot on the job and the trigger man
is believed to be an animal.

The incident happened Friday in the 500 block of Rambo Ln. in Toledo.

Toledo Police tell us Ryan Brill was delivering a pizza when he was shot in the leg.

The home owner, Anthony Wulf, said his gun discharged when it the floor after his
dog knocked it off the table.

Brill is expected to recover.
