@vonny,
I think I like Arthur. But I doubt they will consult me. Smile

The new prince is quite a big baby. I wonder how long it will be until we see photos.

@Sturgis,
I need to get some half and half tomorrow so I can make up a couple of gelatos -
some fresh cherries I stewed, and some peaches I stewed.

Today I'm dealing with a ridiculous yahoo sort of hack, and in between facing that, pulling more stupid stones out of my sandyard. The story on that is this is not gravel, nor big handsome stone, but hunky smaller ones that are hell to walk on and take up room. This lot was apparently where the &#$$## contractor/developer tossed the extra sand. And legally I can't put it in the dump, either buy hauling it there or throwing it in the trash. So, I try to put the rocks where I wouldn't walk anyway, or give the rocks away. There are many layers of rocks; I've made some progress. It's not always unpleasant. Gets me out in the sunshine (I see it's 94 here now). Sisyphus probably liked his task part of the time.

I just rewarded myself with some Negra modelo cerveza.

What about his uncle's name. Harold.

@Lustig Andrei,
I like that.

Unless of course Francis would be chosen. Unlikely, though that might be a good new trend.

My father's name was Richard Joseph and he was always called Joe. Hmmm, King Joe.

@Sturgis,
I like that flour when I spring for it. Not bad recipes at the website either.

Can't imagine a King fooling around baking, but y'never know: progress might happen.

Soon, I hope. When Kate leaves the hospital, I guess. Ought not to be long now - so many tourists over here just for the birth, and Press - poor newscasters and journalists have been outside the building for a week in baking hot temperatures.

Do any of these sorts have middle names that could be used by, say, friends? or do those tend to follow tradition too?

@Lustig Andrei,
It's also been a long time since there was a King Æþelstan, but I suspect they'll decide to leave it that way.

I wonder what Ladbrokes are offering on names. See your two kings and raise you two consorts: William George Albert Philip.

@spendius,
Harry's name isn't Harold, it's Henry Charles Albert David. He was often called Hal when he was a small child, then Harry.

I wonder what would have happened if Kate had decided to have a termination.

And announce it.

@spendius,
Why would she want a termination? She's financially secure, with a big gaff and plenty of people to change nappies babysit etc. A lot different from a 17 year old who's just been told she has to move out.

I was hoping it would be black, that would be a laugh.

There was a pollster on Channel 4 News last night, she said 47% of the population of the UK would describe themselves as very, or fairly interested in the Royal Birth. That's not as high as India.

@vonny,
Do any of you visit 'Just Another Music Thread'? Hate to admit it, but I am unable to follow Neko Nomad's instructions on posting music combined with a photograph! Been trying for ages, and hate to admit defeat, but I simply cannot manage to do it. I can post the music, and post the picture, but combining the two is beyond my (limited) computing skills.
