@izzythepush,
That's the first time, I've seen "Louise" since she was a baby, growing up how cute...

Just heard that the royal baby has been born safely and is a boy. No idea what he will be called yet. Waiting for the formal announcement from Buckingham Palace, but the news came out in a break from traditional protocol.

<Saunters in, morning Times under his arm. Pours himself a cuppa as Warshaw seems to be hiding somewhere. Sits in one of the plush overstuffed easy chairs and stirs two sugars into his black coffee. Place seems totally deserted, as it's been for the past couple of days.>

Oh, hi, Vonny. Didn't see you lurking there, all out of breath with the news. Where the hell is everybody?

@vonny,
He'll be lucky to mount the Throne before he's 70 if current form is anything to go by.

Ladbrokes might offer odds on what year he will be crowned and give accruing and compounded bonuses, adjusted to interest rates, and they would be into banking.

Or at least they would if I had time for a more detailed exposition.

@Lustig Andrei,
There's no "atmosphere" Andy. I told you the foody stuff would soon wither away in repetition and stupidity.

Even ladies will cease patronizing a joint where ladies are talking about food all the time.

@Lustig Andrei,
In England? They might be trying to find somewhere cool to shelter until it cools down. We have temperatures in the 90's - almost unheard of here! Possibly the same in New York?

Oh, a footman has announced the royal birth from the palace. So it's official.

@Lustig Andrei,
Wassau is out in back getting fresh blueberries so he can prepare some more blueberry sorbet and for those who wish, some blueberry ice cream.
Me I'm content with my blueberry tea and plate of assorted peppers.

Is the Pittsburgh PostGazzette available or did some ruffian swipe it?

@vonny,
Sorry Vonny, it's only in the mid 80s today....although the humididity has returned with a vengeance.

The baby should clearly have a dignified name...I vote for Sturgis...or maybe George.

Well, people worldwide are starting to celebrate the royal birth. I'm jolly pleased it's been delivered safely and that we now have a new prince - hope we'll get more news soon.

@Sturgis,
I opt for the name of Arthur. Hasn't been a King Arthur in a long time. (The last one was never an actual 'king' anyway.)

@Lustig Andrei,
There was a King Arthur for close to 2o years in my home. I named my cat Arthur.

However, the name Arthur does seem fit for a king...or a brand of flour.
