I think eggs, like everything else, are fine in moderation. As Lola pointed out, they're a good source of protein.

I had an egg salad sandwich before, on Wassau's freshly baked, and lightly toasted, bread, and it was very good, exactly what I was in the mood for. Next time, though, I might ask him to add a little chopped celery and onion to the egg mixture, just to add a bit more texture and flavor variation for a change of pace.

And now, I'm in the mood for a thick and frosty chocolate milk shake. Oh, Wassau...

It's great being in a place where one can indulge without having to worry about calories, or sugar, or fat, or salt content. Smile

@firefly,
Quiet in here this evening, isn't it ff - I might watch the little animated giraffe film while I wait for Wassau to finish up with your order. Only a few minutes long - on that screen over there perhaps?

@vonny,
That can't be real - those were all 10.0 dives with absolutely no splash. That many dives had to have resulted in at least one less that perfect dive.

BTW, I loved it!

And those streets would probably be quite noisy from all the honking golden geese who laid them. Smile

@vonny,
That was a cute film, vonny. I like giraffes.

It is a little quiet in here today. I sort of like it that way. I've had time to read the NY Times and, catch up on my e-mail, while enjoying Wassau's cookies.
Did you know that today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day in the U.S.? It really is.

Have you tried some? They are still warm from the oven, so the chocolate is soft and gooey. Yummmmm. Smile

Wassau made some especially for me that have chocolate chips, nuts, and raisins, because I love that combo. Try one of those, you might like them too.

I used to love baking chocolate chip cookies with my mother when I was a child. Those are very happy memories.

I like my chocolate chip cookies soft and chewy. Some prefer them crisp. Wassau, how do most here like their cookies?

Wow, doing that's almost as good as having the Little Orphan Annie Secret Decoding Ring.

Where did you get the disappearing ink, farmerman?

@firefly,
look at your "Font colors" above the reply box. There is a white key and you can type in white so that the only way one can see it is if you hold your mousie down .
I used to do this with spendi back in the days, he never caught on.

But you watch, he will respond to the negative and that he was always a step ahead.
