@farmerman,
just cannoli shells - I like 'em cuz they're crispy

I'm not a big fan of the filling - about a tsp worth is plenty for me - I usually scrape the rest out, so it's easier to grab the shells before they're filled

@Walter Hinteler,
I wonder, if I could have a piece of Pandolce Genovese and a double espresso, please.

That is the authentic tone of Mrs Thatcher, who is being incinerated tomorrow with a great deal of fanfare.

"Shall we withdraw our love?" was her chosen style when someone had infringed her sense of priorities. Which is to say disagreed with her.

But at least she won elections. Starting a thread requires substantially less effort.

I can explain that but it would take a while and I don't think you would understand anyway. You're not as intelligent as you think you are ff and the first thing you need to do is to make yourself aware of it.

@firefly,
That's the same as the ADD trick ff. It makes an assertion to stand up a point and when the thing is stood up it forgets that it started with an assertion which is then conveniently assumed to be true to give the point its point.

Such things flag up low intelligence or an assumption of low intelligence in others, which, on an international forum, is an unintelligent thing to do.

I will forbear taking advantage of the permission you grant me to engage in the same circular, and pointless sophistry but do not think I am unable to.

I'm feeling ravenous today, Wassau, and that breakfast looks wonderful.

I think the roll for your sammich is giving Wassau a hard time.

@Ticomaya,
No no Tico. You don't understand. It is people who don't have the same sense of humour as ff who have no sense of humour.

Why she thinks that a sense of self-importance is a bad thing I cannot imagine. One doesn't get all glammed-up and wallow in the excellence of the poshest and most fanciful aspects of the nutrient bed without a highly developed sense of self-importance. In fact, basing one's conclusions upon one's own unsubstantiated assertions is the ultimate and quite natural extrapolation of the vice.

One needs to distance oneself from the "common indifferent plight" to start developing self-importance.

ff would be mortified to be found to have got a juicy croggy out of her well-formed nostrils and rolled it on her skirt with her finger until it was dry enough to flick into a far corner of the room.

@spendius,
I would say that any unnecessary avoidance of bone-idle, indolent amiability bespeaks of self-importance.

Just look how busy we keep poor Sybil.

I don't feel sorry for Sybil. She's just happy to have a job in these times of financial uncertainty. She's very energetic. She doesn't even have to go to the gym to get a work out.

If only I were so lucky.

@Lola,
Aw c'mon Lola. You like going to the gym. Think of all the virile men with sedentary occupations I suppose are to be found there and I bet you look eye-ball popping cute in your kit.

Shopping for the kit alone must be quite exciting.
