I look forward to seeing it! I don't have much luck raising or posting on A2K on my BlackBerry, but it would be a lot more convenient than hauling out my laptop all the time! Good luck getting your internet sorted out!

Pyramid scheme all the way down.

Nah. Every currency, "backed" by a commodity standard or not, will retain its value as long as its country produces enough things that people want to buy with it. It won't once it doesn't. The rest is just Tea-Party talk.

Speaking of which --- Lola, I could sure use some hot tea about now. It's a chilly afternoon here in New Jersey.

That don't look like no tea . . . that looks like a beer to me. We all know you Dutchmen drink beer morning, noon and night.

@Setanta,
I believe that only Bavarians drink beer for breakfast, together with Weisswürscht. Walter, New Jersey does offer a very decent choice of beers, most of them imported from Massachusetts or Pennsylvania. German-quality sausages, on the other hand, have been elusive so far.

I've seen some "Original German-style sausages" in the USA, quite expensive ... containing 64% meat. (If a butcher sold such here, we would get the capital punishment again in our criminal code.)

@Walter Hinteler,
Wouldn't that be something Walt eh?

Capital punishment for short changers. Solve the population problem overnight I should have thought.

@Walter Hinteler,
That's exactly why Otto von didn't want you to know how sausages are made . . .

Sorry to hear about the chill there, Thomas. It's 70 degrees here and lovely. Spring, at last. For those on Vancouver Island and those on the East coast......well, what can I say?
Hot tea? Sure........Wassau, Thomas has a chill and needs some hot tea.

Walter wants a beer and some real, I mean real, German sausage........get it Wassau? Real German sausage.
