Okay. I'm convinced.

But I'm still going to worry that she'll be unhappy without a pet.

I think part of this is the sadness of recognizing that our parents are aging and things are generally changing for them and us. I definitely feel it.

I would have LOVED for hamburgboy to get a pet after mrs. hamburger died, but it's been his decision not to for many of the reasons posted on the thread.

He has made good friends with pets that live in the retirement home he is in, and he always has good dog treats available - but having his own dog or cat is not on his agenda and I've accepted it (even when I still see senior rescue dogs that I think would be a perfect match).

she should move on n cat can b a good companion.. she should have a new one .u can believe on ur niece ..
