Does Anyone Really Think We Can Get Bush Out?

Is his glass house becoming so transparent that people are finally starting to realize he has to go, whether they find Kerry their ideal candidate or not?

I dunno. I dunno. I'm spending more time thinking about this than I ought. I hope.

One thing I have been thinking about was how annoyed I was when Bush finally won (well, that was annoying, of course, but not what I meant) and he got to disappear behind his veil of handlers. I'm really looking forward to when he has to come out again, live unscripted debates in particular. I think he has shown that he is spectacularly clueless, in general, but specifically about what regular people think and why they think it, and I'm hoping that when he has to actually defend his record, he'll step in it but good.

I dunno. We'll see.

I think people are begining to realize that not only is the emperor not wearing clothes, but that he is fondling his genitals in public.
However, I still think that if Bush inc. begins to think that the election will be anything but a "sure thing," then there will be a new "terrorist attack," martial law will be declared, and the elections will be called off until the "crisis" is over.

Logic would say with his record he could not get reelected. However since when is logic the strong point of the american electorate. Maybe it hinges on who has the most and best 30 second slots.

Could we be lucky.
A plane carrying Bushco. All of the putrid gang gets hit by a missle and kills all of them. Very Happy

Nah...we couldn't get that lucky. Guess we better go vote them out.

Another attack by the Bushco buddies, AQ?

Would the American sheep consider that Bushco didn't do enough to protect Amerika or bow to the Junta and beg for mercy?

The electorate is so easily swayed, it could go either way. Bush has no debating skills; he has not a clue; but that did not stop him from taking the first election.

Katherine Harris, Jeb and the Supreme Court
These scum helped out a lot and Gore just didn't have his sheeit together.

Maybe this time The Dems will actually all vote for a Dem candidate. All they really need is Ohio and the Blue States.

How can voters do anything about the possibility of altered votes

re: machines that give no paper receipt? Most of us in school (well- my school) think the election was controlled last time.
See, they needed to keep it close so as to not raise suspicion, but they blew it! I don't think anyone was more surprised than the Florida repubs that the distaste fell on them!
I hope reasonable people will not allow the same garbage this Nov.
If they do... they deserve what they get.
Somebody yell FOUL, for pete's sake!

went to hear the preservation hall jazzband in toronto last weekend (it was a real treat to hear them again, even so the original members have all passed away now). during the introduction the m.c. mentioned, that he thought canadians were more interested in and more informed about the upcoming presidential election than most americans. he added : "well, if i would be living in canada, i guess i would be more interested in it too ! " good point, i thought. hbg

Yeah... I'm with pistoff.

Bush didn't win, Gore lost. Boston Glob said that Bush was trying to cast Kerry as Gore... Gore won the popular vote there kids.

It'll be Kerry by a nose.

I just hope that Kerry doesn't treat winning by the skin of one's teeth like it's a mandate, like someone else does...

I don't trust Kerry either.
I agree with a statement that I heard on Tv that Kerry is the evil of two lessers.
Sigh, if all those who say they aren't voting for Kucinich because he doesn't stand a chance, would just vote him!
Ahh, this worlds voting system is so messed up.
I say the whole world should write Kofi Annan on the ballot and be done with this nonsense of believing that the people actually have a voice.

I lifted and modified the sun/moon face on the King Crimson album "Larks Tongue In Aspic".

Solar, is this a tattoo for you as well? Because you need to run out and get it done if not. Solidarity among friends you understand.

Pdiddie's image sums it up nicely, don't you think? Hehehe.

Spain seems to say that an attack near an election is a bad thing for Bush, not a good thing. It implies he hasn't been able to protect us after all...and it would have to be a spectacular attack, like the meltdown of a major city for Bush to be able to declare martial law. No, any attack from hereonin will make Bush look weak, not strong. I can't think of another reason why the terrorists are waiting to attack again. Bush created more redtape than ever before, and how is it you think the terrorists are infiltrating this country - by exploiting all the red tape. Bush hasn't made us any safer at all, in fact, all his self-praise is sure to draw another disaster our way to prove to the world he is talking through his ass.

So far, Bush is doing Kerry's work for him. His ad campaign began and was pulled immediately. That is a terrible event for Bush because all the ads to follow were intended to build on the initial message, which he dares not do now. hehehe

Bush is operating from the old school strageties for world domination, but he's living in a brave new world. His father attempted to win through exactly the same strategy, and was clueless about how different the world is from how he perceives it to be. An incumbent with sagging polls all ready is in tremendous trouble, since he should always be on top since he has all the advantages. Kerry's hardly done anything yet. But I love his suggestion that Bush and he debate once a month. That's a free attack ad a month for Kerry.
