This is a bit cold, but I think it would benefit the discussion. If you'e being mocked and you cannot stand up for yourself, then you might deserve it. Evolution isn't merciful to individuals who do not know how to fight for themselves. Either you spend the rest of your life being mocked, or you stand up and challenge them.
