@Finn dAbuzz,
A 35 year old Patrik Swazey as a teenager---gimme a break (dance).
It was the Dukes of Hazzard without a laugh track and country music.

@raprap,
You obviously didn't pay much attention to the movie.
He wasn't a teenager.
@Finn dAbuzz,
You're right it wasn't even enough to have me remember much more than Patrick Swaze didn't dance.
There is another 80's era action flick triad that holds it's own, even today--I'n speaking of Mad Max/Roadwarrior/Thunderdome.
Hope they don't plan a remake.

@raprap,
actually Swayze WAS a teenager in the movie because the flick is supposedto occur over two years.
Movies like What's new Pussycat and the Magnificent Seven.
@edgarblythe,
Time has certainly passed by all the
Beach Blanket Bingo movies.

Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine starred Vincent Price and Frankie Avalon. Until I saw your post, I thought I was the only person who had seen that movie.
@wandeljw,
You weren't the only one who saw
Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine, but you may be the only person who
admits that he saw that movie.
@joefromchicago,
That movie was on TV a month or three ago. I swear I did not watch a bit of it.
@farmerman,
Its all about me - the unreleased pondering of life's struggle to remain life.
Okay, since no one else wants to mention it:
Plan Nine From Outer Space
MOVIES THAT DON'T HOLD UP WITH TIME
any thing posted by gungasnake
@edgarblythe,
The former definitely, but I would say that The Magnificent Seven still a good movie. James Colburn was my favorite of the seven, but then I always liked the guy that was a good with a knife. His draw with the loud mouth was a great scene.
If someone does the "MOVIES THAT WILL HOLD UP" thread...I want to nominate Pulp Fiction as a Charter Entry.
Sometimes the plot holds up to time but some scenes don't. Taxi Driver is still a great movie and a good plot, but the scene at Senator Palitines election office is somewhat off, there are no computers on the desks in the bullpen.
Strange how the unusual became the mundane, and then expected.
Taxi Driver , the movie, is still worth a watch.

Movies that Hold up well - IMO
The Third Man - saw it as a very young boy in 4th grade. It left indellible impressions, and I appreciated it even more on seeing it again decades later.
Casablanca - I suspect I know every line of dialogue, still I enjoy it.
The Razor's Edge - campy Somerset Maughm stuff, but one of the best of the genre
Monsters Incorporated - a Pixar film for kids. I've watched it with various grandkids several times, and think I enjoy it more than they.
