I wonder, is there a village? Is it, perhaps, named for where Greenwich mean time is? Is it, maybe, just maybe, bordered by 14th Street to the North, and Broadway to the East, and West Houston Street to the South? Is this mythological land accessible by the #1, #2, #3 and #9 subways?

I guess we'll never know.

@jespah,
One can in theory find gay men eating pizza in the Italian Village on First Avenue and E80th St.

@123xdr,
too bad your not looking for a recently out, late 40's virgin* bear, there's one who lives in Chelsea and is co-host of a satellite radio show

* and not just as a gay man, virgin, as in never had a relationship of any kind

@jespah,
Anyone who's a real pizza lover would never ask that question. I truly doubt your pizza loving credentials Jespah. Confused The government should revoke your pizza eating license for that remark. Evil or Very Mad

In the 1670s, when Yellis Mandeville moved there and bought property, he took with him the name of a Dutch village near where he had lived on Long Island, which has long since disappeared but which was then known as Greenwijck, or Pine District.

The Greenwich area of London was called Grenewic in Old English, which means "green bay or place near the mouth of a river".

I got the impression that the queens were too old. Is there somewhere for princesses? Not yet fully fledged queens?

I hadn't understood that was what eating pizza meant. No wonder I got the odd look last time we went out for pizza. Mind you, I did go with 4 gay men, so I suppose I should have been more aware. It probably didn't relate at all to my falling flat on my face as I entered the place - they do put doorsteps in odd places these days!
