Bit of light/good news for once.

Quote:
A horse had a lucky escape after falling backwards into a hole and becoming trapped upside down.

Firefighters used a mechanical digger to winch Wesley to safety, legs first, from the 6ft (1.82m) ditch in a field at Kinmel Bay, Conwy.

The horse became stuck after escaping into a neighbour's field.

Owner Kelsey Rees-Dykes said she feared the worst when she found the gelding in a tight squeeze but he escaped without injury.
Ms Rees-Dykes described the nine-year-old as a character and mischievous who has tried previously to get through fencing.

@izzythepush,
I give up.Id just bury the thing since he already had a good start.
Horses do **** like that all the damn time
We had one run through a woven wire fence and the fence ripped and the horse ws all rolled up in the wire. We hadda trank the damn thing cause he was going nuts. He was ok , just a few superficial cuts and abrasions. The fence needed to be redug and nw wire sytretched. IT was an old fence anyway and we had it scheduled for the next years routine replacement

@farmerman,
There's a small horse down the road that's in the news a lot. They've had to put up a sign that says it's a very small horse because people kept phoning the police to say there's a horse stuck in the mud. It's only got little legs.
