estuary can be pronounced as /'estrɪ/?

I normally read and pronounce it as es choo ary. So far as reading it as something else for convenience, I'm afraid it would affect my spelling.

I never heard of that shortened pronunciation before. Estuary read  [es-choo-er-ee] isn't such a difficult word to pronounce.
