@jcboy,

To my knowledge A2K doesn't have a feature sending you text messages, but if it does, I'm certain it is optional and you can put an end to them by simply changing your settings.

I suspect you are getting text messages to come to the aid of your cadre, in which case you should be directing your cease and desist order to them and not the wider membership of A2K.

I have to say this entire line of participation has been very bizarre. It's like Tico has disturbed a pack of wild dogs.
