I need to write a letter to a new friend. Please help me check it in terms of appropriate language style.
Dear Tom,
Thank you for offering me the chance to participate in the school project. I am delighted and accept your offer. I want to know details about this project, so I suggest that you and I meet in campus cafeteria, on Friday, October 19, at 6p.m. Let me know if you are coming or not.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Calvin

What is that? A telegram?

@Joe Nation,
Not quite, Joe
Zia, "for" should have stayed in black
To meet fully Joe's reasonable objection however, place "the" before "cafeteria"
@ziawj2,
I see no problem with this letter at all, other than placing the definite article before the word "cafetria." Good job.
