Not the highly educated, oftentimes. But, you know how educated the average American is. Just my opinion.

@hawkeye10,
hawk, So, you have given up on civilization. Too bad, because if you bother to look at this planet with all its wonders, humans are still pretty good at survival.

This world isn't like the picture Romney paints that half are lazy and depend on government to survive. Most want work, but in this economic environment, where demand is down to its lowest levels, companies can't keep growing jobs.
However, there is still hope in the high tech industry where many companies are buying more office space in Silicon Valley to expand their work force. When one Silicon Valley company's capitalized value is greater than many countries of this world, we know where the future lies.

We know this, because even China has been building up their inventory as demand for their products have leveled off and in some cases dropped.

Don't give up so easily.

The Palestinean people are not being "repressed." They are being managed, so they do not kill Israelis, in my opinion.

Someone needs to manage Israel as well so that they don't keep killing Palestinians.

Preventing Israel from defending themselves would be a blatant and unwarranted act of aggression. Israel would be justified in also defending themselves against anyone who attempted to do such a thing.

Of course I realize that to express that opinion anywhere other than on this website, is almost considered blasphemy.

Well, you suggested committing an unwarranted act of aggression against good people who are merely defending themselves. What would you expect?

People are just waiting for that singularity to occur when you actually say something accurate, Oralloy.

That is like waiting for a supernova to occur. The other situation is like saying, "Oh look, a star, another one and another and ... ."

I note your perpetual failure to point out a single error on my part.

That's not a very rule of lawish opinion, Vikorr. What is the point of encouraging Israeli terrorism while decrying other terrorism?

No such terrorism on the part of the Israelis.

The definition is clear.

Actually, the definition isn't clear. Anytime people try to define it after 9-11, the definition started including a lot of activities that people considered legitimate. There was quite a lot of debate about this in the aftermath of 9-11.

I've never had much problem with it.

Not every instance of targeting civilians is terrorism. However, every instance of terrorism involves targeting civilians.

That is one factor that separates terrorism from legitimate activities.

First of all, look at the innocent Palestinians killed vs Israelis. That will be a good start.

Palestinians killed in self defense when they try to murder people don't count as innocent.

Palestinians who never existed, and were merely concocted to inflate casualty figures, don't count either.

And even then, let's distinguish between "civilians killed intentionally" and "civilians killed by accident".

The Palestinians kill civilians intentionally. The few civilians killed by Israel, are killed by accident as they try to defend themselves from Palestinian aggression.

cicerone imposter wrote:
Those Palestinians are dead, because they're Palestinians.

No, they are dead because Palestinians keep trying to murder people, and self defense is justified.

Of course you don't, Oralboy. You are a rank amoral piece of excrement that actively supports the massive terrorist activities of the US.

That clearly makes the US the greatest terrorist group that has ever existed.

John Stockwell: "We are carefully taught, we teach ourselves that we are a peace loving people but if you read our own history, just in a cursory way, you note that in fact we are a very warlike country.

Over 200 times we have put our forces into other countries to force them to our will. We've been in the business of being a country for about 200 years. We've spent fifty years at war, we've fought fifteen major wars, the average amount of time between one war and the next is ten years."

Virtually all have been US terrorist actions against small defenseless countries.

Nope. The US does not target civilians. Therefore none of our actions can ever count as terrorism.

There is the fact that the U.S. has supported oppressive, authoritarian, harsh regimes, and blocked democratic initiatives. For example, the one I mentioned in Algeria. Or in Turkey. Or throughout the Arabian Peninsula. Many of the harsh, brutal, oppressive regimes are backed by the U.S. That was true of Saddam Hussein, right through the period of his worst atrocities, including the gassing of the Kurds. U.S. and British support for the monster continued. He was treated as a friend and ally, and people there know it.

You can't show a single point I've ever been wrong about (and certainly not on the specific issue of Hiroshima and Nagasaki).

Your name-calling doesn't actually help you make your non-existent case, you know.

I have no idea what minesweeper even is. That is why I asked you what it is that you keep babbling about.

Many have shown multiple times that you've been wrong about most of what you discuss and all you do is let more semen dribble off your chin onto the pages of A2K, Oralboy, the semen gobbler.
