What is the 411 on JTT?

The one dyslexia named "possum" is the guy from Abuzz that came here with numerous sock puppet monikers. At the moment I can't produce his Abuzz name, but it will come to me. jtt is not "possum."

I once asked for a list of Possum puppets but never got one. the way I remember it once in a thread someone referred to JTT as possum, no one disputed it, so I had no reason to doubt it.

Is Possum even still here?

Possum realizing he was almost universally on ignore, vanished. If he has ever been back he was very careful to hide his distinctive style.

I've never got a hatred of Americans in his posts, only a hatred of US policies. If it helps you, you can see by his posts that he is likely in the Eastern time zone, but since that spans North and South America that probably doesn't help. I think it is telling that people want to pin point his location so they can classify and disregard his criticisms rather than answer them. There's enough truth in there to make you squirm even if the constant drumbeat allows you to push it into the background noise.

that is an assumption on your part, though a lot of people around here do seem to spend a lot of energy coming up with inventive tricks to avoid truth. However, when I ask JTT what his/her personal stake is in America's alleged abuse of many peoples of the Earth I dont get an answer, and after all the abuse he/she has piled on I think we have a right to know what drives his/her anger.

btw: i have been very clear about what my stake is in sex law making, why I care so much about what I see as ineffective and unjust public policy. I am not expecting any more out of others than I do from myself.

I usually agree with Firefly, think she benefits us with her posts, but for me she too is incessant, feeding a roiling thread past its sleep or death date.

Then, when I am most in my stop-it-firefly-mode-to-myself she comes up with useful information.

Clearly, she's a brat.

JTT's anti-Americanism goes beyond policy disagreement. There is a hostility that goes beyond mere policy and seems personal. I can only guess that someone close to JTT may have been arrested for some anti-American action.

My desire to pinpoint JTT's location is to point out that I could probably find as much evil in his country as he does in mine. The facts that "make us squirm" are actually facts that are being presented in an extreme way and possibly in a false light.

demonstratively not true....a few years back Robert rewrote A2K in large part to rid A2K of JTT types. Having failed he is making another go.

JTT has attacked most Americans who have posted on a2k for the policies of the US government. He essentially blames all Americans.

engineer is blind to this fact, or has never bothered to read JTT's posts.

I have put JTT on Ignore, but peek in once-in-awhile to see if his hatred of Americans have changed, but his message is always consistent. He's a fuc.... bore.

I put JTT on Ignore about two years ago. I got the feeling I was dealing with someone who had rather serious mental issues and I didn't want to be an enabler or a trigger for his/her rants. I don't think there is an easy answer as to why this person sometimes sounds normal and at other times reminds me of a character from Grand Theft Auto.

You spend far more time here, on a regular basis, than JTT.
I've often wondered how you spend such enormous amounts of time here daily while running a restaurant at the same time. How do you do it?

android. my brain needs breaks from work and work issues, a2k is perfect...it is much like leaving life by getting into a great novel, except that i can do it for a very short time. I can also occupy my brain with ideas just discovered as i go about my repetitive tasks.

but the interesting question is why the investment of time to rant for the 3298th time on the same subject to the same people. I myself can only justify if the 3298th time might move the ball. I for instance rarely appear in the various rape threads now because there is nothing new to talk about nor new people talking, so a pause makes sense. JTT never pauses, and twists everything into a seqway for "America sucks!"
