About this Smallpox Fear...
I've read most of the link that Matrix provided. Those photographs are horrifying. Doesn't everybody get a touch of excema at one point or another? Spoke to the Mr. & he said. Yes, just as your flu shot could have made you quite ill, too. Hmmm. Yes, I signed something, but there were no photographs.
It appears the best plan is to know we may have to risk having a smallpox vaccination if there were an outbreak.
I read a news article this a.m. from Charles Piller of the LA Times who thought we would be rushing things to immediately be vaccinated. He went into the details of how such a terrorist attack might happen and what a sick & SmPox-contagious person might look like. (Icky -- running pustules... etc.) Apparently there were also very complicated & dangerous "bomb designs" developed by the Russians... information that could easily have been leaked by some fools to some other ones.
No smallpox anywhere since Somalia in 1977. Why did it have to be Somalia???
