I don't get why national conservatives are so in love with Paul Ryan. His voting record doesn't at all hold up against their standards (he voted for the unfunded medicare part D, the unfunded war in Irag, TARP, and NCLB among others) and he now that he's given the ranch away to today's seniors he wants tomorrows seniors to pay for it. Wisconsin conservatives don't like him and seniors don't like him which will hurt Romney in FL - one of the few swing states currently showing red.

I just heard a radio news story which opined that Ryan might "energize the Republican base," by which they meant the teabaggers. Yeah . . . right . . . only if they thought Romney could get elected, after which they'd shoot the son of a bitch so Ryan could be president.

I see where there will be a "Counter Bus" following the Romney Ryan duo. They will have, as their logo, THE GOP WANTS TO THROW US UNDER THE BUS.
