My friend broke up with his girl and wrote her a letter want to gain a pardon. He has a little hope to fix the relationship but he mistake a wrong letter and then they broke exactly. He made a mistake to write forget in stead of forgive.

That sounds like the ancient monk and scribe that made a minor mistake. All future priests were then commanded to celebrate.
