@Setanta,
Your parfait is a hamster and it smells of elderberries.

No go away or I I shall taunt you a second time!

Hey, you live out there with all those nut bags in Seattle, have you ever heard of a joker calling himself Dan Parfait, and alleged to be the new Matisse? We've gotten acouple of astroturf threads here about him, which inspired this satire.

The hamster i roasted with some fava beans--the parfait was dessert.

@Setanta,
I've never heard of him but that doesn't mean anything.

I saw that thread the other day so I looked him up and found..... nothing. A lot of mentions but no galleries of his work.

I think it's some kind of "Exit Through The Gift Shop" prank.

So that's where Aloysius went!

@boomerang,
That could be. Some joker calling herself (?) Yoku showed up to say that the OP of the first thread has a crush on old Danny, and is delusional. However, she then came back to start her own thread claiming people are starting false rumors about him. I'd say any flavor of rumor would be good for him. It smells off astroturfing.

@Setanta,
I read an article the other day about some college course that had the students invent a mystery and create supporting materials so that it looked as if the events actually took place. It generated a ton of interest before it was outed as a hoax.

I'm thinking this is something like that -- seeing if they can create a buzz about something. Throwing in a hit of scandal doesn't hurt.

@boomerang,
I think you may be right, I think this entire thing was dreamed up by an 8 year old the old man yelled at once. Kind of funny (for 3 minutes) until the 12 year olds piled on.
