What can I do to make my final footprint?

One thing I can say is they have worked me like a dog these last couple of weeks. I've been training new people how to do the crap stuff that I do that no one else wants to. To be honest, I am scared for them. Some of the stuff to do it effectively takes experience - it ain't cut and dry and they are giving it to people who have been at the company for about a month and from what I've found have limited direct experience.

I have tried to write up helpful hints and notes and whatever I can think of. Good luck to them. I am wrapping the last of notes so at least the stuff can get done.

But once it gets about 2pm - I am cleaning out my desk, sending personal stuff home - that I've on my computer and going out for a few cocktails.

@Linkat,
I'd go find out what the hell that one guy was up to. the one walking around all the time...

it's your last chance.

@Linkat,
If there's anything on your computer that you want - get it sent home asap.

@Linkat,
My last day (same company), I wrote haiku on my whiteboard before I left. It wasn't a parting shot of anything except quirkiness (I've forgotten what it said).

@Linkat,
Pull out a desk drawer and write something you have always wanted to say to about the place on the bottom. Date, "make your mark" and replace.

I remember a fellow who left some downloaded stuff of a personal nature
on his State government computer, after he left the State 's employ.
It showed that his attention was elsewhere.

Jokes were made about it, after he had left.

@Linkat,
Funny. Today is my last day too. I have one last work thing to do and have written up hints (which I am pretty sure will be ignored). And yes, I am writing to able2know from my desk (something I haven't done before this week).

I am really excited about my new job. I hope you are too.

@Linkat,

last days are always weird and surreal for me.
i just concentrate on saying my goodbye's, clearing out my personals, and not burning any bridges...

given the desks around here, you'd need metal-etching tools to do that

@Rockhead,
you know I haven't seen the dude in a while. He could have been a contractor we have lots of those coming and going and he was sitting in the area where these guys sit.

Good thought though

@jespah,
I did a stupid human trick at our meeting.

I think people were worried when I took my jacket off and asked them to move back.
