Here in Ireland, Christmastime is a fabulous family time when the inlaws and outlaws get together for a good old knees up or punch up!
Who do you NOT want to see this Christmas at your home?
My former husband and his new wife and they feel the same about me I am sure.
LOL, My mothers family is Irish and Ive always wondered why on earth that very thing happens in our family what is in your post!
Whos not coming to my house????
My ex mother-in-law (yay)
My step mother (yeeha)
No one in my family is coming this year. Period.
And that's that.
Nobody's coming here. We're remodeling and the house isn't really even functional. We ARE having a blowout for New Year's Eve down by the barn, though! Fireworks, hayride, storytelling, scavenger hunt. Sort of kid-related, but fun nonetheless.
BTW, my mother drives me nuts. Here's an attempt at a Senryu I wrote about her and Christmas:
Paper and bows wrap
Her list of my many faults.
Gifts that love
Endures.
She's getting better, though, so I'll reserve my opinion till the very end.
--Ever Hopeful.
Just think about how many people have invited YOU to their house for the holidays.
Now think about how many people out of 6 Billion on Earth have NOT invited you to their house for the holidays.
Get the hint?
No one's coming here for xmas that I know of. I'll head to my parents'.
I would definitely NOT want WG Bush top visit for xmas.
I would not invite George W Bush round to my house for Christmas, but I would invite his latest DOLL, which I heard on the news today was selling in the millions in the USA.
I believe it has 17 different messages or speeches from the President himself, including his verbal gaffs, such as calling American "hostages" American "hostiles!"
My boyfriends mother. She despises me and I can't say I'm overly fond of her! Since I'm not going home (Ireland) for Christmas to visit my family, I will be spending it in the company of my sweetheart.
