With good lungs, you can blow baloons. Now, because of your asthma, you caring auntie will not allow/let you to blow anymore. Is it what "let me blow" mean?

Context:
My auntie wouldn't let me blow on account of asthma (PICT)

Yes. The person was not allowed to blow up the balloons because of his/her asthma, the aunt did not want him to strain his lungs.
