I'm looking forward to meeting jjorge, and hearing about the new house...
and am sorry the timing will be off for bbb's making it to SF...

Osso,

Looking forward to meeting you too!

PS You ASKED for it!
Now I'm going to have to inflict some pictures of the house on you!

I had my first party in the new house Saturday night. I had 32 people but the house is big enough that I could have accommodated 50!
I was running a little behind schedule -change that, A LOT behind schedule- when the first guests arrived, but I learned something VERY important: 'Get the punch right'* and all is forgiven. Very Happy

PPS BBB can't make it? That's too bad. Oh well, maybe she'll make the first Rhode Island gathering** when we get around to doing that.

*lots of fruit, heavy on the rum

** Don't laugh. There's a lot to like about little ol' Rhode Island!

I've never looked up the reverse trip, but it would seem like "common sense" that the offer would be made for both directions!

I do hope your daughter is not leaving California solely because of c.i.'s A2K gathering.
Although, I must admit, sounds like some shifty characters are attending! Twisted Evil

Travel Advice For C.I.

You can criss cross the world,
You can fly to and fro,
you can trek through Nepal,
Enjoy Kokomo.

And of course go Gander
at Newfoundlanders,
(Provided, that is, that
you're partial to snow)

If the tropics entice you,
You won't need much dough,
It's cheap -and it's nice too-
right now in Key Largo.

But DON'T GO TO OZ!
It's a l-o-n-g way to go,
And after all that...

You could bump into Margo!!

Gautam!

Come on... you're independently wealthy you can afford it.

I'm starting a petition to DEMAND that you come to SF.

You can even bring a boyfriend and get MARRIED! ...We'll all go to the ceremony...wouldn't that be cool!

Seriously man, check all your coat pockets for change, look under the cushions on the sofa, empty out that big jug where you've been saving all those pennies and take your grandfather's watch to the pawnshop.
You can dig up the money. Very Happy
