Context:

Six hours after the first attack in PKU People's hospital on 13th, April, 2012, another emergency doctor in NO.711 Hospital in Beijing was also attacked by the same way. It is now clear that the two attacks were done by the same person. However until now, the criminal is still at large. Moreover, the messages about the second attack and the updated situations of the two injured doctors have been deleted from weibo, blog, or other webpages in China.

I would leave it alone, or use "updates about".

Thank you Contrex.

The expression " by the same way" looks awkward. Does it need editing?

It is more than awkward: it is wrong. The correct phrase is "in the same way".
